Utensily With Tatiana Proctor Joined The Charity: Water Project

(Food-Beverage-News.Com, December 22, 2015 ) Bellevue, WA -- The society of twenty first century is the society of modern technologies. However, not so long ago people have realized that there is no technology which can be more precious than human's health. That is why there is a tendency for leading healthy life. Some go in for sport, some just change their diet – everyone may find their own way of becoming healthier.

Utensily is famous for its kitchen gadgets which help people to speed up the cooking process. The chief Utensily device is aimed at healthy lifestyle as well. Spiral Vegetable Slicer turns vegetables into noodles and can be beneficial for various purposes. First, it is a useful tool for everyone who sticks to a diet, especially gluten-free as it alleviates the preparation of dishes. What is more, it is a number one device for those who have small children. Kids do not usually love vegetables, but they are sure to get excited by colorful vegetable noodles.

Nevertheless, healthy diet is not enough. Each list of healthy lifestyle tips claims that one of the most important things is drinking water. Unfortunately, millions of people from all around the world are in need of clean water. The Utensily owner and CEO Tatiana Proctor moved the company to join Charity: water program.

Charity: water is the startup driven by purpose and supporting good cause. The gist of the project is that the person asks friends to donate to the charity instead for buying birthday presents. "My birthday happened to be on Christmas day. I would like to do something meaningful beyond buying more staff for Christmas," – says Tatiana. Currently her birthday donations can give water to five people, but Tatiana believes that it is just the beginning.

Unsafe water is a huge world problem as far as diseases caused by dirty water kill more people than any form of violence, even war. Thousands of families have to walk several miles daily just to get at least some dirty water for their needs. And when the water is brought home, a decision must be made: how to use water this time.

There are different ways of getting clean water such as hand-dug or drilled wells, rainwater catchments, BioSand filters and other systems for water purification.

All kinds of people have joined the Charity: water – from ordinary children who are not indifferent to others to famous actors, musicians and bloggers. The project has already raised almost 9$ million by celebrating birthdays of 17 000 people from all over the world, but that is not nearly the amount the organization wants to get.

The program follows the 100% model, which means that all of the money donated by people goes exactly for the help. It is possible thanks to the private donors and sponsors who supply the organization with money for office systems and salaries. One may be sure that the money is used as it is promised, because once the particular part of the project is finished, charity: water shares photos and GPS coordinates of the community which has got help.

Christmas is a perfect time to give others a chance for healthy lifestyle. The company together with Tatiana Proctor calls everyone to make a Christmas present to people in need and a step towards the better society.
