"Many of our patrons like to enjoy our Steamer Pot, which contains mussels and clams steamed in tomato saffron broth, while they enjoy their beer and wine," reveals Greene. "Others are partial to our Café de Paris jumbo prawns and scallops, which we serve with artisan bread slices for dipping."
For dinner, the most popular options include the Wild Pacific Salmon Fillet served with spiced coconut and apricot broth, roasted artichokes, organic quinoa, and pickled cabbage. Many others are wild about the bouillabaisse, which include seafood delicacies such as wild salmon, halibut, scallops, prawns, clams, and mussels. They're all served together in a saffron tomato broth that's garnished with fried rice noodles and garlic crostini.
"Others go for the Seafood Spaghettini, which include BC halibut, wild salmon, scallops, prawns, mussels, and clams as part of the ingredients and are all tossed in rose garlic sauce," admits Greene. "And then we have the special creation of the chef, which we call the Wild Pacific Halibut."
Patrons who come in to the RiverHouse Restaurant in Delta can enjoy BC halibut or lightly breaded, flash-fried, and baked oysters with fresh cut fries and tartar sauce. These dishes go well with the beer or with the special wines that the restaurant offers. All ingredients are fresh, and the food preparation is obviously made with careful thought.
