The requirements are to find a good weight lose eating plan (that is easy to follow and prepare) and a fun physical activity that will move the body and shake lose the unwanted pounds. If this is so doable, why do so many people reach the magic number on the scale and then slip back into their former lifestyle causing them to regain the weight lost and sometime even more?

No matter how much a person has weighed throughout their lifetime, their weight loss goal remains relatively unchanged. Contrary to popular belief, the goal is not a number on a scale but an idea of what that number represents. Of course we tell the outside world a number. However, deep down inside our goal represents the magnificent changes that will take place in our lives when the goal is met. In other words, "My life will begin when I lose the weight. This is not to say that these are unimportant goals. However, consider the idea that a person's weight may not be the only reason for their unhappiness or lack of confidence. Maybe seeing the people in the "thin" world as the "winners" is unrealistic and when the physical change fails to produce the desired effect of being one of the "winners" of the world, a person's old ways begin to return and so does the weight.
