Keetzen is officially announcing the launch of their Stainless Steel Cooling Rack today on Amazon's marketplace. Their current listing is for a one piece cooling rack. They are also planning on releasing a package consisting of a set of two racks in the near future.
Cooling racks, in general, does one main thing: to cool freshly baked goods. With the design, that Keetzen calls "Perfection Air Circulator Technology", using the perfectly sized wire grid pattern combined with the elevated stands, maintaining natural air flow above, below, and around any baked goods and allowing them to cool down evenly on all sides. This overlapping wire grid pattern also provides stable support to hold breads and cakes, as well as prevent cookies and similar confections from slipping through as they cool on the rack.
Keetzen's version of this cooling rack is made of high quality 304 stainless steel. By using real steel, which is a non-toxic material, Keetzen claims that their rack is "hygienic and has a higher resistance to rust, compared to racks made of chrome steel materials".
Keetzen's rack, according to its makers, is built to accommodate other uses. Their cooling rack can also be used for other purposes such as for baking, decorating, and draining excess oil from food, or water from freshly washed fruits and vegetables. Keetzen's racks can also be placed on top of paper towels or foil to catch any dripping and prevent messing up the counters.
With a size of 12 inches by 17 inches, Keetzen cooling racks can be fitted inside a 13 by 18 inch half-sheet pan to use for baking. Keetzen recommends their cooling racks for oven use up to 500°F. It is also dishwasher safe to help users clean the racks easier.
