Buxxu Launches Solid Copper Mugs For Icy Cocktails

(Food-Beverage-News.Com, September 24, 2015 ) San Diego, California -- United States,

Copper mugs are a revolutionary introduction in the market outbidding the popularity of fragile and porcelain tableware by a good measure. While the delicate bone china wares and glasses have existed from the last century, these Copper mugs are revitalizing an even older table tradition. They are tough and have the antiquity value that is beyond the possibility of ignorance. They are shiny, but not bling, and all the same they have the feel of opulence that people love so much. Gauzing the response of the introduction of copper mugs in the market, Buxxu is tailing the trend with the launch of its own set of cocktail mugs made of solid copper.

Buxxu's Moscow Mule copper mugs are tough and their durability has put their fragile counterparts to shame. What's exclusive about the Buxxu products is that they are made of solid copper. Hand-made, these mugs are beaten out of malleable sheets of pure copper. Buxxu spokesperson explained that there was no point making a copper mug that is not solid copper. He added, "We wanted to give it the full worth of copper and the only way to do it was to use nothing but copper. We also had to consider the weight factor at the designing face. We didn't want to make something too light that would refute the essence of its building material. All the same, we didn't want something too bulky like a spittoon or a pitcher."

Resultantly, the company made something that is an in-between of the two ideas. The mugs use a single sheat that is then hand happened into a shape of a receptacle. That is then finally smoothened and polished before the lips are fitted and the handles are screwed to them. In the end, what comes out is pure copper made. However, the handles are curved out of solid bronze in order to accommodate the thermal sensitivity. Copper is likely to contain the temperature longer than other metals. So, if the handles were made of the same metal, they would have failed a longer grip.

As an optional offer, Buxxu takes requests for nickel lining. Those who do not admire or enjoy the tangy taste of copper in their drinks can ask for an additional nickel casing inside the mugs. Thought the customization does not alter the real material of the mugs, it only adds a shield to prevent direct exposure of copper. The mugs are currently available in a set of two. Soon after the launch, Buxxu broke up the pairing for those buyers who want to possess their first model of Buxxu Moscow Mule copper mug offering to sell the products in loose pieces. The product is also available without nickel linings for those who wish to use them solely for the purpose of serving ice-cold cocktails and liquor drinks.
