A spokesperson for Buxxu was quoted saying, "At first, we were apprehensive about the idea. There were so many sellers already in the market before us. Yes, there were never as many as in the glassware industry, but then, we realized that working on something that is not clichéd will have its challenges. We had to put up with that if we wanted to tread the uncharted zones. So, we accepted the idea and started working on it. Months later, we came up with Buxxu Moscow Mule copper mugs."
The company speakers admitted that they had purpose kept the design minimal. That was more because copper in itself is very rich in its color, texture and feel. What they have done to enhance that is add a coating of polish over the mug exteriors to bring out the bling, that is so typical of metal dinnerware. Since copper is high in conductivity, the company choose to use bronze for the handles. The golden tinge of bronze worked up the opulence and magnificence of the mugs, giving it almost a regal feel.
The mugs are manufactured for both summer and winter drinks. They are slow to catch scratches and chips and have dead easy maintenance. A copper cream would perhaps be the best thing to use to save the luster and shine.
