The review was written by site owner and publisher Thorsten Brandenburg, who is also a competitor in this year's World BBQ Association competition. Mr Brandenburg sourced a Premiala marinadenspritze after seeing one in action at a recent BBQ meet and noting its points of differences. He commences his review by noting some of his earlier reviews on similar products and the growing number of such products on the market, but points out the differences with the Premiala product and why buyers should give it consideration.
He commenced by noting the box the injector comes in, and that "all parts have a secure fit and aren't uncontrollably flying around in the box, meaning you can't be injured by the spikes (of the needles)". While noting some visual similarities with competing products, he explained the extensive use of food-safe 304-grade stainless steel was a distinguishing feature of the injector.
Mr Brandenburg also noted that many similar products only come with two needles, yet the Premiala meat injector includes a fine steak needle. "With this thin needle the user can undertake injection of even small cuts of meat, such as pork tenderloin or chicken breast." He also commented that, compared to a competitor's product, the Premiala's "needles are much sharper, which significantly facilitates the insertion into the flesh, because the resistance is lower."
