Preparation of the coffee tasting is fairly simple. All that's required is some good quality coffee beans grinded for coarse ground, boiled water and a French Press. The "body" describes the "mouthfeel" of the coffee as it settles on your tongue, its tactile impression or weight and consistency as perceived in the mouth; the coffee's heaviness or thickness, which contributes to a sensation of the coffee's richness, its flavour and aroma. We like to start tasting with some specialty coffee beans, such as blends of South American or African origin due to its fragrant aroma with fruity, often citrusy notes. They are so light and full of flavour that they are simply a natural choice to wake up all the senses"- she added.
It is also important to use a premium quality Coffee Press with good filter that will not allow any coffee grounds get in to the cups. Since the coffee tasting involves smelling, slurping (yes, it's allowed!) and savouring, it's essential to have just pure coffee extract in the mouth and no unpleasant coffee grounds. Usually, while tasting, coffee tasting is accompanied with some cake or biscuits but not with milk… However, since tasting and perceiving the taste of coffee is unique for every individual, it can be adjusted to everyone's personal preferences.
