Baking Buddy has released a video recipe on YouTube on how to make Oreo stuffed cookies. Jesse Jacobs host of Baking Buddy's YouTube channel demonstrates with step-by-step instructions.
First, a bowl of whole-wheat flour with added salt and baking soda is needed. Then in a separate bowl add room temperature butter, sugar, egg and vanilla and stir until it's a paste like consistency. After all of the wet ingredients are stirred, pour in the flower in at 1/3 increment and stir in between until it looks like paste. Jacob's mentions a tip about stopping wrist cramps while stirring by getting a towel and wrapping it around the stirring tool for better support. A lot of stirring is required for this recipe. When the batter is ready, it will be time to add the toppings Jesse Jacob's uses a blend of finely ground Oreo cookie crumbs, small chunks of Oreo cookies and white chocolate chips. Stir the blend into the batter, and try not to eat too much of the batter as tempting as it is because there needs to be enough for the cookies. On the Baking Buddy Silicone Mat, put as many Oreos in as desired on it and stick a toothpick into the center of each individual cookie, this is to help the baker mold the cookie batter on the Oreo properly and Jacob's shows the viewer exactly how to do this in the video.
