Fondant is a great garnish or decoration for any cake. If you’re wondering how this cake decoration is made look no further. We have a recipe right here that shows you how to make a homemade version of this easy treat with just 2 ingredients
(Food-Beverage-News.Com, August 13, 2015 ) Houston, Texas -- Ordering fondant is an expensive and a tedious process, and it would be easier if it was possible to just make it in the kitchen at home. Baking Buddy wanted to test this.
Baking Buddy has released a new video recipe on how to make Marshmallow fondant from scratch on YouTube..
All that is needed for this recipe is a bag of marshmallows, powdered sugar and water, that's it! Take two tablespoons of water and pour it all over the marshmallows and mix it. Pop it into the microwave for thirty-second intervals. If the batter gets too hot then add more marshmallows to temper it. If the mix is too thin then more powdered icing sugar will need to be added. It will be "lumpy and clumpy" but it will smooth out as it is kneaded, and if it's a little too firm is okay to add more water to the mix. In order to knead, dump the mixture onto the Baking Buddy Nonstick silicone mat. If a Baking Buddy mat is not in the kitchen then shortening will need to be spread out onto a cooking sheet. When the kneading starts there's a chance more sugar will be needed. When the fondant is done the baker can roll out as much as they want and do whatever they want with the fondant.
Baking Buddy is known for their baking tools and can viewed on their Amazon listing.. Baking Buddy's YouTube channel also has a series ‘Baking Hacks' and easy to follow video recipes.
