Wine has increased in popularity across the board in all age categories. It is no longer considered a drink for the wealthy. Wine Alfresco just added Wine Slushy mixes and Cocktail Mixes to their ever growing line of fun outdoor wine accessories.
When we asked the CEO of Wine Alfresco why wine slushy mixes she said " When I think of the outdoors I think of hot summer days and warm summer nights. A cold frozen wine slushy on a hot summer day just made sense. Its icy goodness cools you off and taste great."
Wine Alfresco currently carries 4 flavors; Peach Burst, Sangria, Mango-licious and Raspberry Frost. They plan to add more flavors in the near future. The mixes are very versatile. The mixes can make wine slushies, wine cocktails, or frozen cocktails.
They are easy to make and can be made using different methods. The mix and the liquor can put into a freezer bag and freeze it for a few hours to create a slushy. The mix, liquor and ice can put into a blender to make a frozen drink immediately or the mix and liquor can be made in a pitcher and pour over ice for a cocktail.
Wine Alfresco, is still working on the packaging for this product. The product currently comes in a purse type packaging. Going forward Wine Alfresco may change the packaging, but the CEO promises any changes they make will be for the customers benefit. Wine Alfresco tests everything before they put it on the market and the Supreme Wine and Cocktail mixes are no exception.
Bobbie said in an interview "I have tested every flavor and so far my favorite is Sangria, but I am partial to red wine. This product has been fun to bring to market and involves some creativity which is my favorite part when researching new products to add to the line".
Wine Alfresco looks to their customers for feedback on how they can improve their current products, or bring a new product that customers might be searching for to market. Making wine slushies from home is not a new idea, but these mixes will help make it easy and fun to do. ###
