(Food-Beverage-News.Com, June 18, 2015 ) Foley, Alabama -- The New Castle Vegan Festival will be held in Newcastle upon Tyne on July 4th 2015. The event starts 10 am up to 6pm. This is the second time that Newcastle conducted such festival. Organizers are expecting thousands of people across the UK.
There will be around 150 companies and food vendors who will be exhibiting organic products and vegan cuisines during the celebration. The main purpose of the festival is to promote a better way of organic marketing, sustainable living, animal rights and provide health education related to vegan diet. Attendees are also given the chance to experience different varieties of vegan products that include vegan cakes and chocolate, heirloom vegetables and seeds, hot takeaway food, organic cheese, clothing and pet treats as well.
"Liberating animals, extending simple compassion to them, and NOT eating them and the things that come out of them are good things. The Newcastle upon Tyne vegan festival 2014 is the first of its kind in the area and one of the largest in the UK. Hundreds of animal-loving companies from all corners of the UK will merge on the 4th July 2015. Thousands of cruelty-free like-minded people will gather for a great day in the heart of this beautiful city." Gary Yourofsky said.

There will also be available food stalls, health food shops, local food producers, ethical clothing and gifts, cosmetics, organic juice stand, information stalls, animal sanctuaries and heirlooms campaigners etc. There are also speakers and range of experts to discuss about the benefits of having an organic vegetable based lifestyle. The festival also offers screenings of some documentaries related to organic and sustainable living.
