Mr. Muffin On Crucial Tips In Reading A Recipe And Baking

(Food-Beverage-News.Com, May 07, 2015 ) Los Angeles, California -- Baking is not everyone's specialty and not all would like to learn how. There are too many things to remember in baking and for a beginner it can be overwhelming. Fortunately, Mr. Muffin representative, Rachel Levy, shares some of her baking tips to make anyone more comfortable in baking.

The most important part of any cooking or baking endeavor is learning how to read a recipe, says Levy. It can be easy to skip steps but Levy says that the first and most crucial part of baking is reading the recipe all throughout before baking. "You should read the recipe from the start to the end and make sure you understand all the steps involved. Then, you need to prepare all the ingredients and tools needed," Levy says.

Levy says that reading a recipe correctly needs skill. For example, Levy says, there is a difference when a recipe calls for "1 cup nuts, chopped" and "1 cup chopped nuts". This difference can make the recipe come with more or fewer chocolate, which can affect the baked creation. Levy explains, "The first one means that you need to get cup of nuts then chop it while the second one means that you chop the nuts until you get a cup, which means that this one gives your recipe more nuts. In a word, read the recipe carefully and follow thoroughly."

When baking muffins, for example, if the recipe says to grease the muffin cups then it has to be done. Although silicone baking cups are essentially non-stick, there is nothing wrong with greasing them lightly in order to avoid the bottom of the muffins from sticking into the cups, Levy says.

Mr. Muffin Silicone Baking Cups are available on Amazon. The cups are BPA-free and can be used to prepare food for the whole family.
