(Food-Beverage-News.Com, April 30, 2015 ) Foley, Alabama -- The National Heirloom Exposition Is Happening On September 2015
On September 8th to 10th, 2015, the pure food fair will be held in Sonoma County Fairgrounds, Santa Rosa California.
The National Heirloom Exposition is a non-profit event which focused its objective around the organic food movement, survival, conservation of heirloom vegetables, and anti-GMO activism.
The pure-food movement started as a trade movement back in 1870s. The movement were made up of food industry members, its main goal was to advocate for a federal law against food genetic modification.
The gathering has been an annual massive celebration and assembly of organic food connoisseurs, talented backyard gardeners, farmers, educational groups and leaders in the food economy. The funds gathered from this event will be contributed to school gardening and other sustainable food agendas.
The Heirloom Expo has acquired more attention among heirloom home growers, school groups, non-GMO supporters, and the general public. The event has also been referred to as the "World's Fair of Pure Food."
The said exposition will be featuring a wide range of organic vendors from across the country and beyond. Last year's National Heirloom Exposition reported 350 vendors, each showcasing products related to heirloom seeds, non-hybrid food, vegetable gardening and so much more. The vendors participating in the event will illustrate the pure food movement, both within their array and in the sustainability of their proposition.
In January 30, 2015, Debo Abernathy, a supporter of heirloom products shared a feedback about the premium heirloom seeds she got from %PR_LINK2%.
Debo Abernathy stated from her comment "I am getting spring fever! I cannot wait to start my garden this year. I purchased this variety pack and I am excited about all the different seeds! I will keep you up dated on my garden…"
Rare fruit growers will be integrated into the exposition, offering a set of circumstances that makes it possible to learn about some rare and close to extinction vegetables and fruits. There will be continuous seminars and workshops on livestock and bio-dynamic farming throughout the three-day event.
%PR_LINK% also supports heirloom and non-organic seeds.
%ABOUT_LINK% came from a long line of Gardeners and Farmers. The family inherited the trait of Gardening and promotes the significance of 100% Non-GMO, and Non Hybrid Seed.
