Introducing Great White Ice Premium Stainless Steel Whisky Stones

About Great White Ice whiskey stones

(Food-Beverage-News.Com, March 09, 2015 ) Sudbury, Ontario -- Whiskey stones are a great alternative for those who love a fine glass of chilled whiskey.. There are currently many different types available on the market, but not all of them produce the same results. Soapstone whiskey rocks were previously the most popular, even though their cooling power is minimal and they have to be frozen for a minimum of 4 hours before usage, because there were no other options.

Stainless steel whiskey stones were introduced to the market a few years ago and as stated in many reviews, these were a much better option especially for sanitary issues. However it is important to understand that most are only stainless steel plated and although they are a better option than those made of rock, because they are only plated, they will eventually rust, pieces can chip off, they cannot be used in the dishwasher and because they are only 3/4 inch, their cooling power is also minimal.

As stated in many reviews Great White Ice stainless steel whiskey stones are proven to outperform every other type on the market. They are 1 inch pure stainless steel whiskey stones (not plated) and they have a food grade chilling gel in their centers, allowing for minimum freezing time (1-2) hours and longer cooling time. They are rust proof, corrosion resistant, contain natural anti bacterial properties, dishwasher safe and can be used in any drink.

Here is what customers have to say

1. Stylish way to keep drinks cool; excellent quality compared with other options

By Comdet TOP 50 REVIEWER on October 22, 2014

"These are a great alternative to the "ice rocks" (e.g., cooling stones). They work in the same manner: you put these in the freezer to chill, then put them in a drink. They don't provide the same level of cooling power as real ice, but they do drop the drink temperature a noticeable amount, plus there's no dilution of the drink when the ice melts.

I like these better than the stone version since they are a lot easier to take care of and keep clean. More importantly, they have better and longer-lasting cooling power than the stone versions or other stainless cubes I've tried. These are a bit larger which means they can retain their temperature for a longer period of time.

They are very nicely made – highly polished stainless steel with rounded corners. They look rather elegant in a drink as well. They don't make the same "clink" sound as real ice (it's more of a "clunk") but the benefits of a non watered-down drink is, to me, worth the sound effect change.

These come in a set with six metal cubes (each roughly one inch on each side), a small but reasonably sturdy pair of tongs and a velvet-like carry sack. The sack is the least useful item in the collection, but those who are more organized than I am will probably appreciate being able to store these in a pouch.

Well worth considering if you're looking for an easy to care for cooling "stone." They are more expensive than other brands, but the better build quality and larger size are definite pluses."

2. He loves them, January 22, 2015

"I got these as a birthday present for my fiancé. He really enjoys using them and likes that they are a little bigger than other ones he had seen."

3. good purchase, February 25, 2015

By cantonteacher

"Gave these to my husband and he loves them. Now he can enjoy cold drinks without them becoming watered down."

Although, not as cold as ice, as stated in many reviews, Great White Ice stainless steel whiskey stones are currently the best alternative on the market for those who like their whiskey chilled, without dilution.
