(Food-Beverage-News.Com, February 25, 2015 ) Los Angeles, CA -- Herbalist.com is expanding its sales territory.
The renowned herbal medicine website has teamed up with an equally popular online brand, Amazon.com, for the expansion of its sales platforms. Herbalist.com products will now be available on the leading online seller, starting with its bestselling appetite suppressant and weight loss supplement Garcinia Cambogia.
"We're excited about this partnership. Being able to sell on a global selling platform like Amazon, in itself, is a huge boon to e-commerce merchants like us," Adam Guild, Herbalist.com founder, said.
According to data from Digital Book World, Amazon capped off 2013 with US$74.45 billion in revenue, which is a 22 percent increase from the previous year. Analytics website Quantcast estimates that almost 80 million people, in the U.S. alone, visit Amazon monthly.
Practical Ecommerce adds that Amazon "represents 30 percent of the ecommerce market," thus making it a great platform for drawing traffic to a product. In fact, Amazon Strategies noted that in the third quarter of this year, electronics and general merchandise (EGM) sellers "grew at 25 percent, with the U.S. at 29 percent and non-domestic at 20 percent." EGM refers to all products sold on Amazon that are not e-books, movies, DVDs, CDs, mp3 or video games.
Guild added, "It's definitely a major business step for us, and also a great opportunity to introduce more people to the benefits our industry-best products."
Herbalist.com's first product on Amazon features a new formula of pure Garcinia Cambogia extract. Garcinia is known for its fat storage prevention and appetite suppressant effects. Prior to beginning to sell this product, Herbalist.com conducted an employee weight loss competition, and on average, all those who participated lost 14 pounds in 30 days.
A leading brand of Garcinia Cambogia, Herbalist.com's bottled version has been third party-tested for purity and potency, with 100 percent pure Garcinia Cambogia standardized to 75 percent hydroxycitric acid (HCA), and with naturally occurring vitamins and minerals including calcium and potassium. Although, the fruit Garcinia Cambogia is native to southwest India, Myanmar and Indonesia, all Herbalist.com products are made in the U.S. while adhering to the highest GMP (good manufacturing practices) standards of product integrity.
According to Guild, the maximum HCA content in each bottle of Herbalist.com's Garcinia Cambogia has been studied and carefully controlled to decrease body fat and curb appetite without causing shakiness or mood swings.
