In the interview, he discussed a wide range of topics and laid out some plans for the future.
Much of the interview focused on the grill mat product itself. When asked about why the company feels it is such a useful household product, Richardson replied "It's something everyone can use. While we market it largely as a grilling accessory, it can also be used in the oven just as effectively."
Richardson pointed to the versatility of the mat as one of the biggest features. He believes that using one mat on the grill and one mat in the oven will help customers get the most out of their purchase.
