The copper mug is essential drink-ware for enthusiasts of Moscow Mules, a traditional libation from the 1940's made with vodka, ginger beer and lime juice. The copper interior of the mugs adds to the flavor of the drink, and the copper itself helps keep the drink ice cold. Moscow Mules have become very popular once again, and are showing up at bars and restaurants all over the United States.
