Smart Food Ideas Announces Opinion Of Dr. Oz Versus Senators In Weight Loss Battle

Garcinia Cambogia & Green Coffee Bean

(Food-Beverage-News.Com, June 26, 2014 ) Seattle, Washington -- Recently, TV's favorite celebrity doctor, Dr. Oz, was interviewed by a panel of Senators, for making weight loss claims before his millions of daily viewers on his TV show, "The Dr. Oz Show". He was questioned about his advice regarding a variety of natural weight loss supplements, including Garcinia Cambogia and Green Coffee Bean.

The panel scrutinized the sensational wording Dr. Oz used while introducing these, and other, weight reducing supplements on his show. They didn't like that "flowery language" was used to keep his audience interested in hearing about these new products. Dr. Oz replied, "I have not been talking about products in that way for two years." Dr. Oz said that he "…personally believes…" in the products he recommends, and he stated, "…I give my audience the advice I give my family all the time." When he looks for helpful products for his followers, he claimed, "…I want to look and I do look everywhere, including alternative healing traditions, for any evidence that might be supportive to them." One Senator, Claire McCaskill, did agree that Dr. Oz does help a lot of people, saying, "I understand that you give a lot of great information about health in a way that's easily understandable." In regards to Green Coffee Bean, Dr. Oz stated before the panel, "…this is a product that has several clinical trials." He continued, "I have five papers, plus a series of basic science papers on it as well." Additionally, he does state on the show's website, "[it] is for informational and entertainment purposes only and is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment." Dr. Oz also stated during the panel discussion that he never takes money from endorsing anything on his show.

Smart Food Ideas offers an all-natural liquid weight loss formula that includes a combination of both Garcinia Cambogia and Green Coffee Bean, so they have been following this story, and the public's reaction, closely. Their product is made by a reputable manufacturer in the USA, and all claims on their packaging and website originated from their supplier, and 3rd party researched studies. Smart Food Ideas does not hype that they found a miracle weight loss solution, or use Dr. Oz's name or likeness to promote their product. They state that everyone should speak with their doctor before beginning any new routine, and that their supplements are not intended to prevent, treat, or cure any disease. Dr. Oz, the panel, and Smart Food Ideas all agree that proper diet and exercise should always be first and foremost.
