In an announcement that is good news for Do-Be fans, the company disclosed that its popular grill mitt is now back in inventory and ready for more sales on Amazon. Prior to this it appeared that due to dwindling stocks many would-be purchasers were simply going to be out of luck.
Mitts or gloves have been in use for centuries as a means of allowing work over a hot stove or grill or to deal with too-hot-to-handle dishes and cooking implements. Do-Be Products offers a model that fits almost any hand and provides good protection over the wrist and lower arm. The Do-Be grill mitt is black which is the traditional color used for mitts that are intended for use with outdoor cooking. A quilted mylar inner lining provides excellent protection from the heat of a hot grill.
Don Lowry, the spokesman for the company noted that it was a close call that the new shipment of inventory arrived just in time to avoid a situation where it would have been impossible to fill new orders. "This black mitt with the quilted mylar inner lining is really popular because it is especially suited for use with an outdoor grill which is found in many backyards of America and also for the grill that is set up in the parking lot for a tailgate party. The color black is especially popular for outdoor grilling because of the increased possibility of stains from the sizzling meat on the grill, although this mitt is just as useful in the kitchen as it is outside," said Lowry. "With this new shipment we should be able to meet all requests to buy the mitt for an extended time into the future even though many of our customers order two so that they can have this protection for both hands."
