How to Make Blueberry Ice Pops!

(Food-Beverage-News.Com, July 17, 2013 ) Rancho Cucamonga, CA -- JULY 2013 -- What better way to cool off the scorching heat of the sun this summer than to eat delicious homemade ice pops? Compared to commercial popsicles, homemade ice pops taste a lot better and cost a lot lesser. Plus, they are much healthier than their commercial counterparts since they do not contain chemicals or additives that can be detrimental to health.

Ever since Frank Epperson accidentally discovered ice pops in 1905, popsicles have become one of the most favorite frozen desserts of everyday Americans. Nowadays, people of all ages can create their favorite frozen treats by using Polar Stix Ice Pop Makers. These ice pop makers are highly durable since they are made from space-age silicon material.

Also, they are very easy to use. Both adults and kids will have a great time creating their favorite ice pop flavors this summer with the use of Polar Stix.

Here are five easy ice pop recipes that both kids and grownups will definitely love.

1. Strawberry Mallow Pops
The ingredients needed for this delicious ice pop recipe are the following: one cup of whipped cream, eight ounces of cream cheese, three cups of miniature marshmallows, two packages of frozen sweetened sliced strawberries and 1/4 cup of honey.

Preparation:
Beat the honey and cream cheese in a tiny bowl until they become smooth. Next, pour the sliced strawberries into the bowl; continue beating until they are blended adequately. Afterwards, fold in the whipped cream and the miniature marshmallows. Finally, pour the mixture into the containers of Polar Stix. Freeze the ice pops until they become firm.

2. Frozen Fruit Pops
This ice pop recipe is not only delicious; it is great for diabetic people as well. The ingredients needed for this recipe include the following: two medium size ripe bananas cut into chunks, eighteen ounces of raspberry yogurt and two tablespoons of lemon juice.

Preparation:
Mix the bananas, the raspberry yogurt and the lemon juice in a blender. Continue blending until they become smooth. Pour the mixture into Polar Stix Ice Pop Makers, and then keep them in the freezer.

3. Maple Mocha Pops
For this ice pop recipe, the ingredients needed are the following: one tablespoon of instant coffee granules, two cups of whipped cream, 1/4 cup of chocolate syrup, 1/2 cup of half-and-half cream and 1/4 of maple syrup.

Preparation:
Beat the coffee granules, the whipped cream, the chocolate and maple syrup and the half-and-half cream in a big bowl until the coffee granules are completely dissolved. Next, place the mixture into Polar Stix. Keep them in the freezer until they become firm.

4. Fudgy Almond Pops
Out of the fifty states of America, nineteen of them have milk as their official beverage. As such, it is not surprising to know that milk is a common ingredient in many ice pop recipes. Fudgy Almond Pops is one of them.

Here are the ingredients needed for this recipe: 1/8 teaspoon of almond extract, one package of instant chocolate fudge pudding mix, 1/2 cup of sugar, 1/2 cup of amaretto flavored nondairy creamer and of course, two cups of whole milk.

Preparation:
Beat the amaretto-flavored nondairy creamer, the chocolate fudge pudding mix, the sugar, the almond extract and the whole milk in a big bowl for two minutes. Pour the creamy mixture into Polar Stix. Place the containers in the freezer and serve them after a couple of hours.

5. Orange Ice Cream Pops
Just like Frozen Fruit Pops, this ice pop recipe is diabetic friendly also. The ingredients needed for this recipe are the following: one can of frozen orange juice concentrate, one cup of cold milk and two cups of vanilla ice cream.
