(Food-Beverage-News.Com, April 05, 2013 ) GRANTS PASS, Ore.— Rogue Wilderness Adventures, an award-winning Rogue River tour operator is celebrating five years of beer and Rogue River smiles this Labor Day weekend on their 5th annual Paddles and Pints trip. This trip, which has become a favorite with outdoor enthusiasts and beer lovers alike, combines Rogue River whitewater and outdoor adventure with Portland’s Hopworks Brewery for a fun-filled, beer-filled weekend.
Beginning in 2008, Rogue Wilderness Adventures introduced beer-themed river trips with their first Paddles and Pints excursion. Five years later, with a lot of empty beer bottles and miles and miles of river covered, Paddles and Pints is still going strong. For 2013, Rogue Wilderness Adventures is thrilled to partner with Christian Ettinger, Brewer and Owner of Hopworks Urban Brewery in Portland, Oregon.
For four days and three nights, beer enthusiasts will explore the historic and spectacular Rogue River canyon by day while dining on great food with guided beer tastings by night. Two nights include a rejuvenating Rogue River camping experience under the glittering Oregon sky. The last evening includes an evening of relaxation and more beer at the famous Paradise Lodge. In addition to exciting whitewater and delicious beer, the Rogue Wilderness Adventures experience includes mouth-watering fare, breathtaking scenery, wildlife sightings, a healthy dose of history, and plenty of relaxation.
The trip takes place August 30th through September 2nd, 2013. Cost: $1150 per person. Includes: Beer, all camping gear, all meals, lodging at Paradise, guides, rafts and all transportation to and from the river.
