(Food-Beverage-News.Com, June 30, 2014 ) New York, New York -- Nutrigift is announcing a new logo design for their line of yacon syrup products. Nutrigift hired free-lance designer Kim Vaughn to create the new label. Vaughn says, "I was hired to work closely with the Nutrigift product development and marketing teams to create a new label for their yacon syrup bottle. I was excited to work with the Nutrigift team. I was hired to bring their product, sales and marketing ideas to life".
Nutrigift redesigned their prominent blue triangle pointing downwards containing a clasped set of hands. "Nutrigift didn't want to change their iconic logo. I worked with them to bring the logo to life and give it a different look and feel. The new logo is definitely more modern looking. The Nutrigift team was happy with the result and so was I", commented Vaughn.
Vaughn also said, "One clever design feature we incorporated was the red boarder running across the top and bottom of the bottle. We thought this color was perfect, especially since the yacon syrup is packaged in a deep brown, almost amber colored bottle. The red and lines on the white label contrast perfectly with the amber bottle".
Nutrigift is planning on revising their other products to include the new logo design. Vaughn said, "Nutrigift wants to make their new logo even more iconic. It is always difficult working with established companies wanting to change their logos. No one knows how the customer base will react. That is why I think it is important to stay true to the original design without a lot of deviation. If too many radical changes are made, you can lose your customer base. The power of a logo translates directly into brand equity, and I have seen a lot of companies lose a lot of brand equity from logo changes that were not handled the right way".
